Adriane Felt
Administrator
Adriane has lived in Skagway for 12 years. After serving on the SCCC board for multiply terms, she feels ready to guide Little Dippers from a different angle. She is working towards getting her childhood development associate while managing Dippers. Creating natural wonder and magic for children to experience is one of her daily goals. Adriane raises two daughters with her partner, Jason.
Amy Wasiura
Director
In college, Amy studied French and Spanish. She studied abroad and spent two years with the Peace Corps in Ukraine. Amy's plans to be a language instructor changed after having her son. She was introduced the the world of early education through Little Dippers. By earning her CDA and studying the work of Magda Gerber and Fred Rogers, she understands that kids are always learning, even prior to the development of speech. Amy loves to connect with these tiny humans and help meet their developmental needs.
Kerri Raia
Co-Director
Kerri is a new mom and has recently joined the Skagway community as a year-round resident! She has previously worked at Little Dippers in 2019 & 2021, but started her career in childcare in 2015. Kerri has her Master's in Education and is excited to begin student teaching this fall. Play-based learning and Montessori methods create her education philosophy and she believes children can be the best teachers. Kerri is looking forward to getting to know all the kids and families this year.
