Miss Darby
Moon Room Lead Teacher
Ms. Darby joined our team in February of 2025. She has spent the last few years in Utah as a Director and program specialist. She is excited to be stepping back into the classroom where she can use her knowledge of child development to create a home away from home for all of her students. She has her CDA and is constantly learning more to be the best teacher she can be. She enjoys using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) to create new opportunities for children of all ages to learn and explore. She also has a love for the outdoors that she hopes to bring to the children.
Ms. Vikki
Sun Room Lead Teacher
Ms. Vikki has been a teacher for 30 years and taught the last 10 years in a Montessori Charter School. She is dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and excited to learn. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys working in the garden, reading, and walking the trails. She has two grown children, Patrick and Madison. She and Madison will become year round residents of Skagway this year.
Yeanke Huang
Assistant Sun Room Teacher
Ms. Yeanke joined our team in May of 2025. She has spent the last few years of her journey as a national board certified health coach. She has a toddler, Isla. Now she is the summer full time assistant teacher here, and she is off to coach in the winter. One of Yeanke’s dreams is to be around children. She is passionate about providing care and love to children. Working at Dippers has brought her a lot of joy and wonderful moments to nurture children's growth and create a safe and fun environment for them to explore and learn.
